The Plan of Pevency Fort
As you can see here the Romans built this fort to fit the terrain. While it is not square or rectangular in shape it still retains all the basic features as mentioned before. The Roman engineers could adjust plans to many different terrainfeatures without losing the basics of their defensive designs.
